The next Health Analysts' Special Interest Group (HASIG) seminar will focus on Analytical approaches to filling small aread data gaps and will take place on Tuesday 8th December 2009.

Speaking at the event are Lorraine Fahy, INIsPHO, Dr. Diane Anderson, Health & Social Care Board, Northern Ireland , Prof. Anthony Staines, Dublin City University and Dr. Julian Flowers, Association of Public Health Observatories.

The seminar will take place in The Institute of Public Health, Forestview, Belfast.

‘Analytical approaches to filling small area data gaps’ - watch seminar video

The final Health Analysts’ Special Interest Group seminar of 2009 entitled ‘Analytical approaches to filling small area data gaps’ was held on 8 December in the offices of the Institute of Public Health in Ireland in Belfast.

The seminar focussed on some of the analytical approaches that can be applied to the problem of the lack of accurate and reliable population-based data, particularly relating to lifestyle factors, to support public health action at small area levels.
