The 5th Public Health Open Conference took place on Tuesday, 11th October 2016 in Titanic Belfast. The aim of the Open Conference was to provide an open platform to:
showcase cross sectoral work in public health,
provide opportunities for cross-disciplinary networking,
enhance knowledge, skills and leadership in public health.

The 5th annual Northern Ireland Stroke Conference takes place on Tuesday 17 May at La Mon Hotel & Country Club, Castlereagh, Belfast. The event will feature discussion on the future and modernisation of health structure in Northern Ireland from a stroke care perspective; with an address from Northern Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer, together with experts in service development, rehabilitation, as well as service user representatives.
The 12th Annual Meeting and 7th Conference of HEPA (European network for the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity) will take place at Queen’s University Belfast 28-30 September 2016.
This small scoping event explored how we could better collaborate to strengthen local data and local community profiles that are needed to support the development, implementation and monitoring of the national public health framework, Healthy Ireland
